Link OnBase documents to RFI Transmittals in PENTA

How do I link a document saved in OnBase to an RFI Transmittal document?

Steps to link a document saved in OnBase to an RFI Transmittal document:
- Once the RFI has been created and Saved, click on the paperclip at the top to get to the OnBase documents
- To search for a document in OnBase, click on eDocs>Criteria and in the panel to the right, locate the Document Type Group of the document you are trying to link and highlight it. Once highlighted, PENTA will display the associated Document Types. Select the appropriate one for the Document you are trying to link.
- Navigate to the section of the screen below the Document Type Group section to see the date options. Each month of the year is shown and by clicking the first one and holding down the shift key, you can select other months in that year or other years to search for the Document you want to linkÂ
- You can also use the other search filters in the right lower block to look for specific documents - see below
- Click on the Search button to search for the requested document(s)
- The results of the search will appear in the Results section
- Review the documents and locate the one you want then click on the Link Document button at the bottom right to link the document to the RFI Transmittal - repeat if you want to link other documents
