Environment

PENTA Workbench → PR: Labor Hours panel → Labor Hours reports

Resolution/Fix/Answer

It is possible to separate regular earnings from OT earnings by utilizing the PENTA Workbench - PR: Labor Hours panel. 

To add the Regular Earnings:

  1. Add the panel in Workbench "PR: Labor Hours"
  2. Set your parameters as needed
  3. Select Labor Hours link in the bottom section to initiate Labor Hours Report
  4. Select the Formula tool
  5. Enter a description for the Regular Earnings amount
  6. Select Regular Hours from the "Insert a column" field
  7. Select insert
  8. Enter the * symbol 
  9. Select Regular Rate from the "Insert a column" field
  10. Select Insert
  11. Choose Data Type: Number
  12. Choose Display Format: $#,##0.00
  13. Select Add

The formula for Regular Gross Pay should look like this:

[Regular Hours]*[Regular Rate]


To add the OT earnings:

  1. Add the panel in Workbench "PR: Labor Hours"
  2. Set your parameters as needed
  3. Select Labor Hours link in the bottom section to initiate Labor Hours Report
  4. Select the Formula tool
  5. Enter a description for the OT Earnings column
  6. Select Premium 1 Hours from the "Insert a column" field
  7. Select insert
  8. Enter the * symbol 
  9. Select Premium 1 Rate from the "Insert a column" field
  10. Select Insert
  11. Select Premium 2 Hours from the "Insert a column" field
  12. Select insert
  13. Enter the * symbol 
  14. Select Premium 2 Rate from the "Insert a column" field
  15. The formula should look like: ([Premium 1 Hours][Premium 1 Rate])+([Premium 2 Hours][Premium 2 Rate])
  1. Choose Data Type: Number
  2. Choose Display Format: $#,##0.00
  3. Select Add
