Job specific detail job cost ledger/general ledger reporting
Issue/Symptom/Question
We are currently running through a job specific audit and one of their requests is a job specific “detail job cost ledger / general ledger” that can be downloaded into excel. I am ok getting PENTA reports into Excel however, for reassurance, I was hoping I could speak with someone familiar with the reports so I can narrow down the most applicable report that will show the auditor all job specific transactions.

Resolution/Fix/Answer
Workbench panel PM: Labor will return detail for Labor Productivity Report or Cost Summary Report through the specified date Through Date.
Productivity
Click the Productivity hyperlink to view the Labor Productivity report. This report shows productivity variances and displays one row per labor costcode. You can compare estimated vs. actual hours per unit and monitor variances and labor productivity factors.
Cost Summary
Click the Cost Summary hyperlink to view the Cost Summary report. This report shows rate variances and displays one row per labor Costcode. You can compare estimated vs. actual cost per hour and monitor cost and hours variances.
