When linking a work order to an existing job – does the cost or revenue from the work order actually hit the job, or is linking just a reference that makes it easier to pull up information?

I see where we can change the OU for the work order, but not a place to make the work order a “child” of the job that behaves like a true child job would.

Resolution/Fix/Answer

The linking of a Work Order to a Job is just a reference – all costs and revenue stays with the Work Order

The same is true for linking one work order to another  - the cost & revenue stay with the original work order

Linking them together could be used for reporting purposes if you wanted to some how roll them together
