How can I setup a Job Type so that PENTA doesn't calculate any revenue. This job type will be for internal cost only jobs.

What revenue recognition method should be selected for cost only jobs?

Resolution/Fix/Answer

• Ultimately, as long as the jobs do not have Contract Line Items setup, PENTA will not calculate any revenue and the job cannot be billed
• Further, if you check the 'Manual revenue recognition only unless specified otherwise when process is initiated' checkbox, jobs assigned to this job type will never calculate revenue automatically, even if contract line items exist
• The specific revenue recognition method will not matter
