We are trying to create a Work Order and received the below error message. How do we correct this error?

Work Order Creation Failed

The following issues were detected while trying to create the new work order. The work order cannot be created until they are addressed.

• ERROR: Local Taxing Authority XXXXX includes Local Taxing Authority XXXXX, which is not active.

Payroll > Setup > Taxes > Local Taxing Authorities

Resolution/Fix/Answer

The error is being returned because the Local Taxing Authority code being used when creating the work order, is inactive. Navigating to the Payroll > Setup > Taxes > Local Taxing Authorities window and changing the code to Active will relieve the error.
