Labor Interface detail transactions being summarized
Labor Interface detail transactions being summarized
Issue/Symptom/Question
When timecards are interfaced into Penta, Penta is taking all labor entries and summarizing them into a single entry per employee.
This is causing an issue on T&M jobs that require showing all labor daily activity.
Applies To
LBR Interface entry
Payroll/Time entry/Time/Equipment/Production Units Entry
Resolution/Fix/Answer
Option 211 overrides the summarizing of interfaced labor transactions:
- set to "Y", the interface will create a separate timecard for each date with non-zero hours, without attempting any summarization.
- set to "N", the interface summarizes hours entered for different days, as much as possible, using the latest date as the work date.
The default setting for this option is "N"
