Issue/Symptom/Question

 Is there option to automatically make Purchase Orders Active/Approved status?

Applies To

  • Pending Purchase Order Automatic Hold is turned On
  • Purchasing > Purchase Orders > Purchase Order - Grid Option

Resolution/Fix/Answer

Purchase Orders will default to Pending status so long as the Automated Pending Purchase Order Hold Rule is turned on.  If you want Purchase Order to default to Active/Approved, turn off Hold Rule # 3 by marking the Place and Remove fields = N and changed the ALL OU Code = S with no OUs listed in the Validation block.
