What are the steps needed to create a RFI Transmittal communication to my contacts using DocGen?

Resolution/Fix/Answer

Steps to create a multiple document RFI communication using DocGen functionality:

• Navigate to the Project Administration window and click on the RFIs button in the lower block

• With the cursor in the upper right space right-click and select 'New' to create a new RFI entry or select an RFI that was previously created

• For a New RFI, complete all the required and optional fields in the RFI window and click Save when done
• To create the multi-document RFI Transmittal document you must first link the other documents to this RFI
  
  • Click on paper-clip at the top and search for the other documents

• • Once found link the other documents to the RFI document you selected
    
    
• Once all the documents have been linked to this RFI then click on File>Reports...>RFI - Transmittal and click Ok to have PENTA link the RFI document to the attached documents and create a single document to be sent to whomever
