Copying Error History Information from Penta

Issue/Symptom/Question

If I receive an error message in Penta, is there any way to copy that text to my clipboard?

System Management> Technical Support> Error History

Resolution/Fix/Answer

Penta allows you to copy error informaion via the Error History screen. To do this follow the below steps:

  1. Navigate to the Error History Screen (The screen should open in query mode)
  2. Enter the User Id of the person who triggered the error
  3. Enter the date the error was triggered
  4. Execute the query to bring up one a list of errors triggered by the user on the specified date
  5. The most recent error should show first
  6. Copy the Error text by selecting the "Copy to Clipboard" button
