Changing New Employee Status History Date
Issue/Symptom/Question
I have a new employee that started two days ago but, the employee set up was done today and the effective date is today's date instead of the hire date. How can this be corrected?

Payroll > Employees > Employee Payroll Information
Resolution/Fix/Answer
If there are no timecard records entered for the employee, PENTA allows you to delete the incorrect Status History record and re-enter the correct record. Follow the steps below to add the correct Status History record.Â
1) Navigate to Payroll > Employees > Employee Payroll Information and query the new employee record
2) Click on Status History pop-up window
 3) Click on the incorrect record
4) Click on the X (delete) at the top window
5) Answer Yes to the pop-up window
6) Enter the correct Status History record and exit the window to commit the change
