Issue/Symptom/Question

Can PO numbers be setup in PENTA to use the work order number?

Environment

  • PENTA for Windows
  • Purchase Order - Grid Option
  • Configuring PO Numbers assignment

Resolution/Fix/Answer

  • There is no way to configure PO number assignment to include a work order #.
  • Primary reason being the Work Order ID can be up to 25 digits in length, where the PO number is a maximum of 15 digits in length.
