Cannot delete Equipment Capacity in an Equipment Class
Issue/Symptom/Question
Receive notification 'This item cannot be deleted because it is referenced in the CUS_EQ_CLASS_OVR table' when trying to delete an equipment capacity in an equipment class. Â

Service Management > Customer Information > Customer Equipment Maintenance > Setup > Customer Equipment Classes
Resolution/Fix/Answer
This notification will occur if there are tasks associated with the equipment, even if it is unused or there is not a capacity assigned to it. If you delete the Task ID(s) that are associated with the equipment, PENTA will then allow you to delete it.
- Â Query the piece of equipment in Service Management > Customer Information > Customer Equipment Maintenance > Setup > Customer Equipment Classes.
- Â Go to the General navigation bar > Maintenance Estimates > Tasks / Materials > Right-click on the Task ID field > Delete Record(s).
