What is the Asset Component Maintenance window used for?

• Fixed Asset Management > Setup> Asset Component Maintenance window
• Fixed Asset Management > Asset Information

Resolution/Fix/Answer

• Setup Ids and descriptions for breaking out asset charging by usage rates in the Asset Information window (see screenshot below)
  • In other words, the pieces of the charge rate contributing to the total charge rate.  
  • Breaking the Asset charge out into the components allows for more granular comparisons to verify the charge amount is accurate. 

Example: Components that comprise the $160/hour charge amount.  The charge rate can be updated periodically as the cost of the components change.
