Calculating employee subsistence pay at a per-hour rate
Issue/Symptom/Question
There has been a change in one of our union agreements that changes the way we need to reimburse our employees for Daily Subsistence. The current setup in Master Reimbursements pays subsistence at a per-day rate, we now have to pay subsistence at a per-hour rate. Is there an alternative reimbursement set up that you could suggest where we can reimburse subsistence per-hour?

Resolution/Fix/Answer
Adding an Add to Gross Fringe Benefit to the union Payroll Classes will calculated the subsistence on a per-hour basis. Here is the calculation bases for the fringe benefits:Â FRINGE BENEFIT BASES Calculations
Adding a Master Reimbursement with a Calculation Base # of 2, will calculate an amount per Total Hours or Gross.Â
