Application System Error importing timesheets

Issue/Symptom/Question

When importing records user receives an internal system error and is logged out of PENTA. 

Error Text from Error History window: 

Error Text:  Array boundary exceeded at line 17 in function of_createnvo of object u_tabpage.

Applies To

Importing mobile time from TEP, eTime, or MFS

Import Mobile Window

Payroll > Time Entry > Time/Equipment/Production Units Entry

Resolution/Fix/Answer

The error occurs when a large number of records are imported at the same time (there is no defined maximum).

To avoid this error import smaller groups of records at a time.

No data is lost and no intervention is needed when this error occurs.  User can continue to import additional records after logging back in. 

Cause 

PENTA has a memory maximum that can be exceeded when a large number of records is imported at a time.  Each time a value is validated (ex: Employee ID is validated to ensure it is active) it takes up additional memory.Â
