Changing Databases when Connecting to Mobile Field Service

Issue/Symptom/Question

How does a mobile field service technician change databases in the mobile field service application?

Resolution/Fix/Answer

  1. Click the Home Button in upper left on the Work List
  2. Click the Change User Button
  3. This logs you out of MFS
  4. On the log in page, hit the Reset Provision link
  5. Enter the configuration key for the database you are connecting to (if you are not sure what the the configuration key is, please contact your internal support team, or submit a Service Desk requesting this information)
  6. Once the key is entered and processed, select the database (remember to pick the correct one)
  7. This takes you back to Log in Screen for User Id/Password Entry in the new database
