How do I create a new Work Type for costcodes?

Resolution/Fix/Answer

1. Add security for the Project Management module to one of your user groups. 

   1. Follow the steps here for updating a security group: Add Menu Item Access to a PENTA Security Group

   2. Grant access to this menu item:

      Open

      

2. Log into Penta Web

3. Click on the Project Management configuration (gear button on the Project Management block).
   

4. Click on the Work Types tab.
   

5. Click Add new
   

6. Enter a description.
   

7. Click the save icon to save the new Work Type.
   

8. Log into PENTA for Windows.

9. Query the desired job in the Costcode & Estimate Entry window.

10. Choose the desired Work Type from the drop down list.
