Unable to log into Mobile Field Service

Issue/Symptom/Question

When attempting to log into Mobile Field Service on a different iPad, I am receiving the below error message.


Error

You are currently registered on a different device. You or your administrator must unregister you from that device before you can log into this device.

Mobile Field Service

Define Users (System Management>Security>Define Users)

Resolution/Fix/Answer

When this message is displayed, it means the technicians username is still associated with a different device/iPad. To unregister the old device so you can log into the new device, follow the steps below.

  1. Navigate to the Define Users window
  2. Query back the Technician's User Id
  3. Click on the Mobile Tab
  4. Click on Device by Application
  5. Click the Clear Device Association button. After all devices are no longer displayed. you can close the window
  6. The technician can now log into the new device
