We received the below error when trying to transfer inventory to a work order using the Open Requisitions - Inventory window:

ERROR: Work Order distributions are only allowed on Work Order processes. 

Applies To

Requisition Setup:

Purchasing > Requisitioning > Requisitions

Requisition - Inventory Transfer Creation:

Purchasing > Requisitioning > Requisitions - Create Purchase Orders

Complete the Inventory Transfer:

Inventory > Warehouse Transactions > Open Requisitions - Inventory

Resolution/Fix/Answer

Penta is aware of this issue and has a fix available for installation, if you experience this problem please submit a Service Desk ticket and reference this article.  

For a workaround, if you need to complete the inventory transfer when the requisition has been released, you will need to use one of the windows referenced below to complete the transfer:

Inventory > Warehouse Transactions > Material Transfer

OR

Service Management > Work Order Information > Work Order Transaction Entry
