Connecting to PENTA Server on iPad
Issue/Symptom/Question
Need to connect to terminal servers via an iPad to access PENTA for Windows.

- Microsoft Remote Desktop App
- Hosted client that has terminal servers accessible via a Gateway server
Resolution/Fix/Answer
- On the iPad, download the Microsoft Remote Desktop App from the App store
- Tap the Microsoft Remote Desktop app to launch it.
- Tap on the + icon to add a connection
- Tap on Remote Resources
- Tap on the E-Mail or URL field
- Enter the Remote Desktop Web Feed URL for the environment. This can be provided by the PENTA tech services department if you don't already have it.
- Tap Done
- Tap Find Feed
- Tap Add User Account
- Enter the Doman\username in the Username Field.Â
   Example: penta.local\exampleuser.Â
    penta.local is the domain in this example.Â
    exampleuser is the username of the user that is going to login to the PENTA server in this example. - Enter the password for the user account.
- Tap Save
- Tap Find Feed
- Tap Desktops
- Tap on the Penta Desktop to connect to the server
- If you get a pop-up asking you to accept or reject, tap Accept.
- The app will now connect you to the server where you can run PENTA for Windows.
