Issue/Symptom/Question

When configuring cross-reference between two document types, a keyword is need to relate those document types.  There are three setting options for this keytype configuration that dictate the behavior of the client.  What do they mean?

Resolution/Fix/Answer

When configuring a cross-reference keyword relation, three Settings options are available:

From the OnBase System Administration MRG, v18:

SettingDescription

Prompt for user input when
multiple keywords are found.

Prompts the user to select the Keyword Value to match for the
selected Keyword Type.

Apply multiple keyword
values for selecting one
document.

Requires that all Keyword Values match on retrieved documents
for the selected Keyword Type.

Retrieve documents that have
at least one common keyword
value.

Returns a document if any of the Keyword Values match for the
selected Keyword Type.
