Confidential Payroll information is exposed in the Project Review & Forecast Entry window when accessing job and labor costs. How can I restrict employee level detail in the Project Review & Forecast Entry window?

Environment

PENTA for Windows

Project Management > Inquiries > Project Review & Forecast Entry window

System Management > Security > Security Groups

System Management > Security > Define Users

Resolution/Fix/Answer

There are (2) ways of modifying security settings in order to restrict a User from viewing Confidential Payroll information in the Project Review & Forecast Entry window.

First Option: User Level

1) System Management > Security > Define Users

2) Query the User's ID

3) Click on the "Module Security" tab

4) For "Module", select "Project Review/Forecast Entry"

5) In the "Action" list, select "Allow Access To Employee Level Detail" and mark it as "N" - for "No"

6) Close the window 

Second Option: Security Group Level

1) System Management > Security > Security Groups

2) Query the Security Group

3) Click on the "Module Security" tab

4) For "Module", select "Project Review/Forecast Entry"

5) In the "Action" list, select "Allow Access To Employee Level Detail" and mark it as "No" 

6) Close the window
