(pre-v25.1)

When viewing an invoice in the Work Order / Maintenance Contract Billing screen, the document is stored in OnBase as document type “SM - Draft Invoice”. However, there is nothing on the document to indicate it is a draft. This could lead to confusion for those viewing the draft invoice.

Upon completion of the invoice, the document type of the invoice is changed from “SM - Draft Invoice” to “SM - Invoice”. The document is otherwise unmodified.

New Functionality

(25.1 and up)

When viewing an invoice in the Work Order / Maintenance Contract Billing screen, the document is stored in OnBase as document type “SM - Draft Invoice”. The generated document has a “DRAFT” watermark to indicate it is a draft.

Upon completion of the invoice, the draft document is removed from OnBase, and the invoice is regenerated, saved as document type “SM - Invoice” in OnBase, and displayed to the user.
