Could not find a connection configuration provider error when attempting to view Service invoice
Issue/Symptom/Question
I have given a user permissions to service billing. I have these permissions also, we both get this error when selecting an invoice to bill. Another user has these rights but does not get the error message.
service management – invoicing -work order/maintenance contract billing - add - work order - view invoices

Resolution/Fix/Answer
Penta is locally installed and is missing penta.ini in their setup. To resolve:
Type Environment in your Windows Search box.
Click on Edit the system environment variables.
Click on Advanced > Edit Environments.
Click on penta.ini > Edit > enter penta.ini to the end of the Variable value.
