Crystal Report - Job Cost Report

Resolution/Fix/Answer

Use this report to review the status of costs, billings, labor hours, purchase orders, and subcontracts for a job. Due to space restrictions on this report, it looks at the sort order of cost types used on the job and shows up to the first eight cost types in detail. The remaining cost types then group together in an “Other” column.

Report Fields

Contract Costs - This breaks down costs by the current period and job to date. Current period and job-to-date information show for the first seven parent Cost Type descriptions. Costs for Costs Types beyond seven accumulate in the “Other” column.

Contract Billings - This breaks down costs by the current period and job-to-date Contract Billings. Current period and job-to-date Contract Billings show for the first five Revenue Category descriptions. Billings for revenue categories beyond the first five accumulate in the “Other” column.

Labor Hours - Labor hours are categorized by regular, Premium 1, and Premium 2. Hours are further broken down by the first eight EEO types; everything beyond the first eight are grouped together in the “Other” column.

Purchase Orders - This shows detail for each purchase order assigned to the job. It includes the Purchase Order Number, Vendor ID, Vendor Name, Total Committed, Invoiced-to-Date, Open Committed, Current Period Invoiced, and PO Type.

Subcontracts - This shows detail for each subcontract order assigned to the job. It includes the Subcontract Number, Vendor ID, Vendor Name, Total Committed, Invoiced-to-Date, Open Committed, and Current Period Invoiced.
