Resolution/Fix/Answer

Benefits:

• Both Crystal Reports and Legacy Reports are listed in one place
• MVP release is first step to replace the Crystal Report Interface (aka CRI) technology which has a scheduled end of life
• Crystal Reports are able to be viewed in a Browser window
   

Security:

• The Web Reporting Module is given to Users the same way as other Web Modules, by removing the restriction in Security Groups on the Reporting folder.
• A Permission exists for which Security Groups can add/edit crystal reports under the Reporting Folder on the PENTA Menu Security 
  

For legacy reports:

• The Web Reporting Module follows the Report Security of the Security Groups assigned to the User
• For Legacy Reports, the Web Reporting Module will open the Report Initiation screen in PENTA for Windows, so the Web Browser used for PENTA Web has to be running on a machine with PENTA for Windows installed.
