Period End Date when processing Payroll Bonus Checks

Issue/Symptom/Question

Why would PENTA not allow us to provide a period end date in the Bonus Checks screen if that is what is required in the Create Payroll Check File?

Resolution/Fix/Answer

The different check processes require different information. A bonus check can be written using less restrictive dates however, to create the payroll check, you still need to know the pay group's period end date. Â
