I just got a new computer and we installed PENTA for Windows (PfW) on it. When I try logging into PfW I receive the following message: "The domains in your PENTA program do not match the domains in your database. This is a serious condition, and could result in incorrect operation. Please contact your Penta Account manager immediately".

Resolution/Fix/Answer

Install Oracle Client 11.2 or higher
 

Cause 

This error can occur when an older version of Oracle Client is installed on the PfW machine.

If you experience this problem and the resolution noted above does not eliminate the error, please submit a Service Desk ticket and reference this article.  Please provide the following information in your Service Desk ticket:

• Version of Oracle Client you installed
• Version of PENTA for Windows (PfW) you are runnning
