Product Standard Cost Was not Defaulting Correctly
Issue/Symptom/Question
On a Warehouse Register report, it was determined that the Product Standard Cost for a given Product was not correct. Why?

Product Standard Cost Information (Inventory>Setup>Product Standard Cost)
Resolution/Fix/Answer
Product Standard Cost Information is setup/defined in the Product Standard Cost window. If you are noticing a different standard cost than what you were expecting, please try the following:
- Navigate to the Product Standard Cost window
- Query back the Product Id in question
- Review the Product Standard Cost information at the Balance Sheet OU Level, is this correct?
- NOTE: Make sure to check EACH Balance Sheet OU Id
- If yes, click on Warehouse Overrides for each Balance Sheet OU Id, and check for any override Product Standard Cost values at the Warehouse level.
If you are still unsure where the number is coming from, please submit a Service Desk ticket and reference this article. Please provide the following information in your Service Desk ticket:
- Balance Sheet OU Id
- Warehouse Id
- Product Id
- Expected Standard Cost
- Actual Standard Cost
- Date of Transaction and Document # for the transaction
