How do I enter a partial Disposal of an asset for a non-book depreciation base in PENTA?

Resolution/Fix/Answer

Previously, when entering a partial disposal of an Asset, a warning message would show to be a reminder to update the asset basis after disposal.

With the change, a popup will display forcing entry of the new basis when an Asset had a basis other than original cost.

• Enter the partial disposition in the Asset Information window
• Enter the new basis after disposal in the popup for the Non-Book Depreciation bases
• Close the popup and the Asset Information window

When the process for Asset Disposals is processed, the depreciation will be updated to the disposal date and the partial disposition entries will be posted.
