Connecting to our system is extremely slow.

The menu items are very slow to open. once they're open, they seem to perform normally.

Resolution/Fix/Answer

The Linux server was pointing to a DNS server that did not respond. After changing the Linux server to point to the correct DNS server, the issue resolved.
