Setup scanner to scan documents directly into OnBase

Issue/Symptom/Question

How can I setup my scanner to scan documents directly into OnBase?

OnBase Unity Client

Resolution/Fix/Answer

  1. Click Batch Scanning in the Unity Client 'Home' Tab

  2. Click on Manage Scan Formats in the 'Capture' Tab

  3. Create a new Scan Format if it’s not already there.  

  4. Give the new scan format a name and select the scan source you are scanning from: This will be the Scanner/Driver Name
  5. When you are finished Click ‘OK’ after selecting the new 'Scan Format'

  6. You may being Scanning once you define a scan source through the 'Scan' Function and there is a valid Scan Source.
