Resolution/Fix/Answer

SM: Equipment Inactivated by Technician Report, accessible from the SM: Reporting Center, provides a list of customer equipment that has been Inactivated by a technician via Penta's Mobile Field Service (MFS) application. See Allow Technicians to Inactivate Equipment for more information on how to configure PENTA to allow technicians to Inactivate Equipment. This report includes equipment information as well as the Work Order where the Equipment was Inactivated and Maintenance Contract that have the Equipment Inactivated.


Users can enter the following parameters to filter the returned data.

Note: Legal Entity OU, Balance Sheet OU and OU values refer to those associated with the WO where the Equipment was Inactivated.

Once the initial report is generated, users can modify the layout through the common functionality buttons.

When accessing the Workbench from Penta for Windows (PfW), the following two columns will navigate back to PfW.

  1. Maintenance Contract ID: Maintenance Contracts screen with the queried maintenance contract
  2. Work Order ID: Work Orders screen with the queried work order
