SOC Code Error during generation of Quarterly Wage Report for Indiana (IN)
Issue/Symptom/Question
I encountered the below error when processing the Electronic Quarterly Wage Reporting for the state of Indiana. How do I get this resolved?
ERROR: The following Indiana employees do not have a Standard Occupational Classification Code (SOC Code) entered for the Title # associated with the Pay Rate Information of their Payroll Class current as of the Quarter End Date (or they do not have a Title # assigned). Indiana requires the SOC Code. Enter the missing SOC Codes for these employees' Title #s (or assign a Title # to employees without one) before running the Electronic Quarterly Wage Reporting process for Indiana.
