While running Timecard Distribution by Pay Group, the following error was received:

Resolution/Fix/Answer

The error message "PRP054 -20002 ORA - 20002: Invalid Cost Type X for WO Service Type XXXX XXX" indicates there is a missing Cost Type in the specified WO Service Type. The following steps should resolve your error:

1. Navigate to the Service Management > Setup > Service Types
   
   
   
2. Query the Service Type in the error message
   
   
   
3. Navigate to the Cost Type tab, insert a new row and add the necessary information
   
4. Exit the window to execute the addition of the new record

Once the information is updated, you should be able to continue with the payroll distribution process.
