Mobile Field Service device>My Work List

Mobile Field Service device>My Schedule

Resolution/Fix/Answer

Steps for Self-Scheduling:

  • Navigate to the Service Management>Scheduling>Service Dispatch - Task Based (Web) window and determine which Work Orders to assign to your Technicians. For Technicians that you want to allow them to 'self-schedule' their own work, the dispatcher would NOT assign a Schedule Date when assigning the Work Order to the Technician. Leaving it blank allows the Technician on his device to schedule when he plans to work on it.

  • When the Work Order appears on his device, It appears in his Work List with no Schedule Date.

  • To schedule the work, the Technician would go to the Dashboard and select My Schedule which allows the Technician to see the Scheduling window on the device

  • Within the Scheduling window, select a Schedule Date and optionally enter the Estimated Hours and a Due Date for this Work Order

  • NOTE: The Technician also has the ability to ‘Unschedule’ a Work Order even if the dispatcher assigned a Schedule Date/Time to it.
