PENTA for Windows → Reports → Payroll → Worker Comp Wage Audit
Resolution/Fix/Answer
A PENTA Workbench report found under the PR: Labor Hours panel will generate reports that can separate labor with specific columns like Regular/Premium 1/Premium 2/Total hours.
To add the Regular Earnings:
- Add the panel in Workbench "PR: Labor Hours"
- Set your parameters as needed
- Select Labor Hours link in the bottom section to initiate Labor Hours Report
- Select the Formula tool
- Enter a description for the Regular Earnings amount
- Select Regular Hours from the "Insert a column" field
- Select insert
- Enter the * symbol
- Select Regular Rate from the "Insert a column" field
- Select Insert
- Choose Data Type: Number
- Choose Display Format: $#,##0.00
- Select Add
The formula for Regular Gross Pay should look like this:
[Regular Hours]*[Regular Rate]
To add the OT earnings:
- Enter a description for the OT Earnings column
- Select Premium 1 Hours from the "Insert a column" field
- Select insert
- Enter the * symbol
- Select Premium 1 Rate from the "Insert a column" field
- Select Insert
- Select Premium 2 Hours from the "Insert a column" field
- Select insert
- Enter the * symbol
- Select Premium 2 Rate from the "Insert a column" field
- The formula should look like: ([Premium 1 Hours][Premium 1 Rate])+([Premium 2 Hours][Premium 2 Rate])
- Choose Data Type: Number
- Choose Display Format: $#,##0.00
- Select Add
The report should now display two new columns comparing Regular Earnings versus OT earnings.
There is also the Worker Comp Wage Audit crystal report. This report displays earning included and earnings excluded from the worker compensation calculation:
