Trying to setup the Payroll Classes, & received the below error about Union Recip Groups. Shouldn't we be able to have the same group used on multiple Pay Classes, even when the same Union is tied to each one?

Error: Group x has already been assigned to Payroll Class xxxxx. Two payroll classes within the same union cannot have the same union reciprocity group. Do you wish to see the Possible values?

Resolution/Fix/Answer

If a user could assign more than one union reciprocity group per union, a group would not be needed BUT then PENTA wouldn't know which payroll class to select. A group is needed so that PENTA Knows which of possibly many payroll classes to select as the work payroll class when multiple payroll classes exist for the same union. 

Ie. Union IBEW-21 and IBEW34; PR Class 100 is set up for IBEW-21 and PR Classes 600, 700, 800 for Union IBEW-34, when employees in IBEW-21 work in IBEW-34, which of the 3 PR Classes (600, 700, 800) should PENTA select wages and fringes from? The Recipocity group tells PENTA which one to use. If all three had the same group, PENTA would still not know which on to select from.
