Issue/Symptom/Question

Project managers are unable to post estimated entered through the Estimate Worksheet window. The error received is "There are no balanced jobs that you are authorized to post".

What is the security setting that needs to be changed to allow them to post their estimates?

Resolution/Fix/Answer

If the User does not have access to the Approved status then the User is not set up as a Home (Home Office) User Type in the Define Users window.

User Type Home (Home Office): Can Post Estimate Worksheet Batches with a status of Approved.

User Types Standard and Field Users can only Post Estimate Worksheet batches that transfer estimates within a job (status of transfer)
