Update a Maintenance Contract Coverage Period

Issue/Symptom/Question

How do I update the Coverage Period for one of our Maintenance Contracts?

PENTA for Windows

Service Management > Maintenance Contracts > Maintenance Contracts

Resolution/Fix/Answer

  1. Navigate to Service Management > Maintenance Contracts > Maintenance Contracts and query the Maintenance Contract
  2. Click on Renew/Copy Period - enter New Coverage Period - Begin and End dates

  3. Review the setting for the Visits - update as needed
  4. Click on Perform Copy
  5. Verify the Contract Amount:, Equipment/Locations, Billing Schedule, Preferred Technicians and Notes tabs to make sure information is correct
  6. Exit the window to confirm update
