We are outsourcing our payroll to ADP, how can I generate the work force now ADP Paydata file and upload that to ADP?

Payroll > Payroll Check Processing > Create ADP Paydata File

Payroll > Setup > Pay Groups, Payroll Classes and Workers Compensation > ADP Company Code Setup

Resolution/Fix/Answer

1. Configure the ADP Company Code Setup. ADP Company Codes link Pay Groups to the Work Force Now file format. This is required before you can generate the Paydata file. Different Pay Frequencies (weekly, biweekly, etc.) will require different/multiple ADP Company Codes

2. Create ADP Paydata file. 

• Enter your ADP Company Code from above
• Enter the Period End Date for the file submission
• Enter a filename and directory where the file should be saved
• Indicate if you want to view the file immediately, or not view the file on the screen
• Click Generate File
• Locate the saved file, and upload to ADP
