Adding a Customer Outside of the US and Canada

Issue/Symptom/Question

Attempting to setup a State/Province for Customer's address. 

State/Province Code is required when adding a new Customer and Customer is not located in the United State or Canada.

Billing & Accounts Receivable > Customers > Customers

Payroll > Setup > Local Entity Information > Country Codes

Resolution/Fix/Answer

State/Province Code is a required field when creating a Customer record. There are no options for outside the United States or Canada.

PENTA does offer the option of Other (ZZ) that can be used in this field.

You can create Country Codes other than the United States and Canada by navigating to Payroll > Setup > Local Entity Information > Country Codes
