Adding a workbench panel in the PENTA Workbench

Adding a workbench panel in the PENTA Workbench

Issue/Symptom/Question

I have security access to the PM: Job Information panel but I'm unable to find it in Workbench.

Applies To

PENTA for Windows

System Management > Security > Define Users

System Management > Security > Security Groups

Workbench > PM: Job Workbench > PM: Job Information

Resolution/Fix/Answer

Prerequisite:

1) System Management > Security > Security Groups

2) Query the Security Group # associated with the User

3) Under "Menu Security", navigate to PENTA Workbench > Project Management

4) Remove the red "X" from "Job Information" by double-clicking it

Next Steps:

The PM: Job Information panel is only available through the PM: Job Workbench panel. It is not available on the PENTA Workbench since it only shows information for a single job. In other words, you have to select a job from the PM: Job Workbench panel and from there you will be able to add the PM: Job Information panel.

1) Open Workbench and navigate to the PM: Job Workbench panel

2) Select your desired Job

3) Once you click on the Job Name, it will open that Job's Workbench

4) Click the gear icon located on the tab, select "Add Panels", use the scroll bar and you will now see the PM: Job Information panel as an option
