Steps:
- Non-Productive Tasks must be setup before they can be dispatched to the field
- Navigate to Service Management > Setup > Non-Productive Tasks
- Create a full list of non-productive tasks.Â
- Each task will have a default general ledger account assigned.Â
- When service technicians record time against the task, the wage expense will get debited to the GL account assigned
- Examples:
- Training
- Meetings
- Vacation/PTO
- Optional, you can assign unique GL Account numbers by OU, for a given Non-Productive Task using the 'Account by OU' button
- Dispatcher assigns a non-Productive Task to a Service Technician
- Navigate to Service Management > Scheduling > Service Dispatch - Task Based (Web)Â
- Selected the Assign Non-WO Tasks option for a specific service technician
- Select a task
- Assigns it a Status to appear on the MFS device
- Indicates the Start Date and Time and whether it is All Day or not
- Indicates the Estimated Hours for that day using the Duration field
- Selects a PTO Category if applicable
- Optionally adds Comments to the Task
- Service Technician see's the non-Productive Tasks on his Mobile Field Service device
- Service Tech changes the Status to In Process and then navigates to the Labor part of the Ticket and records the proper start time
- Click on Change Current Status and select Work Completed
- Click on the pencil on the right to change the end time to be the correct end time for this Task
- Click Mark as Approved and then select Submit Ticket
- Payroll will import the non-Productive time in the Time/Equipment/Production Units Entry windowÂ
