How to remove Locks in OnBase.

Issue/Symptom/Question

OnBase is telling me I have active Locks, how can I manage those locks?

I am unable to edit a document because of a lock, how can I remove the lock?

Manage Locks

Resolution/Fix/Answer

Locks can be removed in the "Manage Locks" Pop-up

To access this pop-up: File> Administration> Manage Locks


Once in the pop-up: Hit Refresh then Select the lock in question> Remove Selected


Note: If you do not have access to Administration> Manage Locks, please submit a service desk ticket and reference this article.  You will need access to the 'Utilities' Product Right in OnBase Configuration.
