How do I refresh a database?

Environment

Oracle Database

Linux server

Resolution/Fix/Answer

This assumes the database refresh scripts have already been configured and the customer has been trained on how to run a database refresh.

To run the refresh script:

  1. Log into your Linux database server as oracle
  2. Run the wrapper script in /u01/app/oracle/local/rman/bin/
  3. Monitor database refresh log file in /u01/app/oracle/local/rman/log
  4. Refresh OnBase documents
