How to setup PTO Accrual limited to Jobs
Issue/Symptom/Question
I need to setup/configure PENTA for a new kind of sick leave that will apply to employees working in a specific state at a specific job as per that state's new law.
Environment
- Payroll>Setup>PTO, Hours Classification Codes and Overtime Rules>PTO Accrual Schedule Information window
Resolution/Fix/Answer
- In the PTO Accrual Schedule Information window, click on the Limit by Job button
- Add the Job Id that the PTO accrual schedule pertains
- When processing time for an Employee charging time to the job, PENTA will begin to accrue PTO hours for the Employee.
