What is the Intercompany Clearing Account field used for in the System Configuration window?

System Management > System Rules > System Configuration > Accounting tab

Resolution/Fix/Answer

Although this is a required field when you're entering information in the Accounting tab, this field is no longer used by PENTA functions. Any account number can be entered in this field.
