Inactive Costcode Message During Labor Distribution Process

Issue/Symptom/Question

I am trying to distribute a payroll timecard batch and the system is saying that at least one costcode is inactive. How do I find out what costcode is inactive and holding up the distribution process?

Resolution/Fix/Answer

The timecard distribution error message will not indicate which costcode(s) are inactive. You can manually review each costcode (if you have a copy of the Gross Pay Report or the data from the Workbench PR: Undistributed Timecards panel) to review each costcode status; if you don't have those reports or can't determine the source of the inactivate costcode error message, please log a Service Desk ticket so the Penta Technologies development team can review and provide the list of inactive costcode(s).
